When we heard the news of your death,

Our eyes were filled with tears,

We wish you could live on,

Our minds were filled with questions and our soul was crushed.

In the flesh, we were reminded of her gentle voice,

We were reminded of her heart warming smiles and unique personality.

We could recall the sound of her voice when she says: “I am praying for you”

We could still recall our last visit to her when her strength was gradually diminishing.

She was a humble soul, a loving and fulfilled religious.

We wanted to write you a song, but we were wondering where we could find the rhythm and melody to describe such a musical gem,

We wanted to write you a poem, but we wondered where to begin to describe words to our dear Sr. who knows how to use her lyrical content, repetition, and rhymes.

She was a vibrant soul, full of wisdom,

There was never a time when you go to her without leaving with words of courage.

She was a woman of prayer, faithful to her rosary and devoted to our mother Mary.

Our Dear Sr. Clare, sleep on in the Lord, rest on in His bosom,

You have fought the good fight and finished the race,

You will remain ever green in our hearts and prayers.

Oh, her days are done,

We confess it in tearful voices but with greater hope that our dear sister Clare has gone home to rest.   Good Night! Till we meet to part no more!
